We had been contemplating an office remodel for some time for the reason that 15 years had passed since our office/production warehouse facility was built. So when we decided early September 2014 that polished concrete might be our best option for the 4400 sq./ft. office portion, first thing I did was Google concrete companies in the Paso Robles/San Luis Obispo area. Pristine Concrete was at the top of the list. (Back in 2002, we contracted Pristine Concrete for color & stamped concrete at our personal residence so we were familiar with their quality of work).

Once on their website, I found it very easy to navigate, research our options, and fill out a short Online Request form. Within a few days, Mike contacted me to schedule a time to come out to measure for the job quote. Within a week or two, we had the quote in-hand, signed and scheduled the job start for the end of the month.

Prior to starting, Mike helped us in the selection of the right accent stain color in various locations as well as the finish that must be OSHA compliant. The coolest part of our project was the special, custom designs that included our company logo in the lobby and gears images in the break area (all relates to our automotive industry)!

One of the biggest challenges with our job was that our sales staff operated in the same office space. Therefore, Mike and his crew planned ahead by arranging the job in 3 phases over a period of a month so as not interrupt our normal operations. They were super conscientious and accommodating for business projects such as ours and even offered to come in during closed times such as evening or weekend hours in need be.

During the job an unforeseen issue came up with our concrete condition (original carpet glue deeply etched the concrete). When this occurred, Mike immediately addressed the problem, giving me the fixes and the option to proceed as normal or go with the recommendations which included what it would be up front in additional cost, time, and labor. These are definitely the things I remembered and really liked about working with Mike the first time: His artesian precision and straight-forward communication! With all that said, our project ending up getting done right on schedule.

Basically, with Pristine Concrete you can count on honesty, ethics and a kind of perfectionism on the job you just don’t seem much of today. And the whole crew was personable & fun too!. We are so glad to have reconnected again for another job and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them or anyone looking for the best concrete specialist in our area!

Please don’t hesitate to use us a reference and/or feel free to call if anyone would like to come out to the facility for a visit to see the floors firsthand!

Sincerely,
Mike & Angela Partridge
